Steaks and eggs

Yesterday was a quite hazy both the air and my head.

Haven't figured out how to transfer pictures to the computer, i've got no cord or card reader wah wah wahhhhh. so this a picture of the Santiago smog...

It's like this except you can't see the mountains. Yes not sleeping on the plane was an error of judgement on my part which made arriving at Bellavista hostel in Santiago at 5am was a bit of a blur. oy vey.

Spanish was already pretty trying for me however, chilean spanish is even more difficult. They speak fast and with lots of slang. Understanding a couple of words out of a sentence is a sucess. So I've gotten much better at speaking with hands but ultimately looking into taking a spanish course down here. Price is a bit steep but I think it will increase the overall quality of my trip tremendously.

I've met some great people at the hostel, and have already exploring the city... and the nightlife with them. Spent much of the evening yesterday drinking wine on the roof of the hostel. Everyone has such amazing stories and are so well traveled. Most of them have been traveling over 6 months. Living an amazing life.

Leave with some Peruvian beats I found on the plane
Cheers!

  1. How long you staying in Santiago? Heading north next on your agenda--on bus or hoofing it? Your trip is sounding awesome and amazing! Take lots of pics! Stay safe and hopefully you got your
valuables and passport around your neck!
